The Hidden Benefits of Cannabis Legalization

November 23, 2018

Cannabis is now legal in Canada. What does that mean?

Behind all the hoopla of cannabis being legal now in Canada, there is a subset of consumers who have had a huge burden lifted off them, a hidden misery lifted.

Life just became a bit easier because vindictive, spiteful people in their lives can no longer wield cannabis prohibition as a weapon. Who are these people?

They are the single mom who uses cannabis responsibly, yet still feared the phone call from Social Services to say she was being investigated after a complaint was lodged about her cannabis consumption.

It is the cannabis consuming parent who is locked in a bitter custody battle and one of the reasons given to decline joint custody is that they are breaking the law.

it is the husband or wife who feared displeasing their significant other, by breaking the law to consume cannabis, when all their partner wanted was a partner who was a law-abiding citizen.

It is the upper management person who feared their cannabis consumption would be discovered and leave their career in ruins.

There are so many different scenarios that have been detrimental to the well being of certain consumers that have played out over the time of cannabis prohibition.

The fact that cannabis is now legal will make life so much easier for these people, and not a moment too soon.
